The Boker Tree Brand Story
In the 17th century, the Boker family began a small hardware factorybeneatha towering chestnut tree in Germany. This tree was incorporated into the Boker’s first logo in the 1600s, and has remained an important brand symbol. Over the years, the Boker family expanded their business and moved to Solingen, the City of Blades, to begin the now-famousknife line with cutlery expert Hermann Heuser. In honor ofthe majestic tree from their first factory, Boker was originally known as Tree Brand, and many still refer to it by this name.
